Microcurrent Therapy

Electricity occurs naturally in our bodies with  each tissue type in the body having its own unique electrical frequency signature. Certain types of electrical impulses help to facilitate functions in our body, including those necessary for our body to heal. These can be disrupted by disease or by injury.

In Microcurrent therapy, microamperage current is applied through the use of electrodes to various parts of the patient's body. These mimic the electrical impulses that happen in our body helping to create a desirable effect. Microcurrent therapy is applied to bring back these normal frequencies thereby restoring the body's metabolic processes. This is essential for tissues to repair.

The current is so small that that the patient does not feel the current during the treatment. The duration of an application may last typically from 15 to 60 minutes depending upon the particular patient's needs.
